In response to strong client demand and a robust pipeline, the programme management advisory and delivery teams are expanding across all grades. The roles support programme advisory and delivery commissions throughout the entire lifecycle, including definition, delivery model, organisational design, readiness, maturity assessments, programme management and PMO implementation.
- Support strategic goals for capability, growth and commercial targets.
- Lead or support complex programme management advisory or delivery commissions with multidisciplinary teams and diverse stakeholders.
- Ensure commissions meet quality standards and commercial expectations.
- Apply robust risk identification, evaluation and mitigation across all commissions.
- Build strong client and cross‑functional team relationships to ensure successful delivery.
- Identify and act on business development and cross‑selling opportunities with existing and new clients.
- Lead and support proposal development throughout the entire bid process.
- Engage, develop and support direct reports in their career journeys.
- Share knowledge and best practices, promoting the team internally and externally.

Candidates should have experience in public or private sector infrastructure such as aviation, energy, rail or water, with complex multi‑disciplinary programme and PMO management background and a proven delivery track record. Key skills include leadership, strategy development, relationship management, complex problem solving, management consulting experience and senior‑level client engagement, complemented by a relevant degree and professional accreditation (ChPP, APM or MSP).
- Demonstrate leadership in implementing AECOM health, safety and environment requirements.
- Public or private sector infrastructure experience (aviation, energy, rail, water) preferred.
- Complex, multi‑disciplinary programme and PMO management experience.
- Proven track record of successful delivery.
- Leadership, strategy development, relationship management and complex problem‑solving skills.
- Management consulting background with senior‑level client engagement.
- Experience managing live programmes while pursuing new opportunities.
- Line‑management experience within a consultancy environment.
- Strong industry network and ability to work across service lines, including cross‑selling.
- Commercial experience with a history of winning and retaining clients.
- Degree in project/programme management, construction or engineering; ChPP or APM accreditation; Managing Successful Programmes accreditation preferred.
