Loan Servicing Associate

Description

• Draft payoff statements while accounting for any fees, holdbacks, or special conditions
• Take calls from title companies and customers
• Manage customer service inquiries as needed
• Receive mail related to loan servicing
• Draft loan modifications, extensions, and releases
• Make payment entriesfor loans with interest reserves
• Manage daily tasks and prioritize workload independently
• Coordinate with accounting team for balancediscrepancies
• Manage daily draw disbursements
• Manage maturity defaultinterest tracking and enter defaultinterest charges
• Input and maintain loan terms and escrow accounts
• Intake collateral from newly closed loans
• Process monthly payments and statements

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required
• Ability to interface with all levels of the organization from loan closers to senior management
• Experience with Salesforce is a plus
• Ability to multi-task while maintaining high attention to detail
• Experience with real estate a plus but not required
• Preference of someone in the Chicagoland area as this is a hybrid work from home – in-office position.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Previous experience in loan servicingis a plus but not required
