- Prepare detailed reports and summaries to support pricing, procurement, and bid strategies.
- Collaborate with estimators and project managers to ensure takeoff data aligns with project scope and bid requirements.
- Support procurement efforts by providing material quantities for vendor pricing and proposal comparisons.
- Contribute to process improvement by recommending efficiencies in takeoff workflows and tools.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the estimating and preconstruction team.
- Assist in maintaining historical cost and material databases to streamline future takeoffs.
- Identify discrepancies in project documents and communicate findings to internal teams.
- Input takeoff data into estimating software and maintain data accuracy across systems.
- Participate in pre-construction meetings and project review sessions as needed.
- Review project plans, drawings, specifications, and addenda to prepare accurate material and quantity takeoffs.

- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Frequent use of hands, fingers, and computer equipment.
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.

- Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and estimating software platforms.
- 3–5 years of construction estimating, takeoff, or related preconstruction experience required.
- Regularly required to lift up to 25 lbs, bend, kneel, and reach.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) for cross-functional collaboration.
- High school diploma or GED required, bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Experience in mechanical, plumbing, or HVAC construction preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
