- Ensure multimedia content complies with accessibility, copyright, and equity standards, including ADA/Section 508 requirements.
- Provide technical expertise and creative guidance on multimedia best practices to faculty, staff, and administrators.
- Maintain and recommend multimedia equipment, software, and related technology.
- Stay current with emerging multimedia and digital communication trends.
- Support multimedia needs for District and college events, including live-streaming, recording, and real-time technical troubleshooting.
- Supervise and train assigned staff and student employees.
- Oversee pre-production, production, and post-production processes, including concept development, script writing, filming, editing, graphics, closed-captioning, and distribution.
- Collaborate with Communications and Information Technology teams to develop strategies for emerging technologies and multimedia trends that improve student and community engagement.
- Plan, organize, and manage multiple multimedia projects simultaneously.
- Develop and monitor project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely delivery of multimedia content.
- Manage the District’s multimedia platforms, including digital asset libraries, video hosting sites, and content management systems.
- Collaborate effectively with diverse constituencies in a multicultural environment.
- Develop, plan, and manage multimedia projects including video production, photography, live-streaming, and digital presentations to support District communications, marketing, and outreach efforts.
- Coordinate with staff, student workers, and contractors engaged in multimedia production and related activities.

- Project management principles and budget development.
- Ability to perform at high levels in a fast paced, ever-changing work environment.
- Three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in multimedia production, including video, photography, and digital content management.
- Software applications such as Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator) or equivalent.
- Multimedia production techniques, including video, photography, lighting, and editing.
- Bachelor’s degree in multimedia production, communications, film/television, graphic design, digital media, or a closely related field.
- Experience in an educational or public sector environment is desirable.
- Communicate clearly, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work efficiently.
