Lead project scoping activities and support cost estimation and feasibility analyses
Support field staff and construction teams during installation with technical guidance and clarification
Conduct site visits or field verifications to validate design assumptions and support constructability reviews
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and documentation to ensure timely delivery and client satisfaction
Prepare and review engineering design plans, technical calculations, construction specifications, and material selections
Coordinate and communicate effectively with clients, municipalities, contractors, and internal teams on project progress, design changes, and technical issues
Participate in value engineering and risk mitigation efforts during design development
Manage gas pipeline design projects, ensuring proper placement of distribution lines in accordance with safety and regulatory guidelines
Ensure design compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and client-specific requirements
Review and interpret civil/transportation and utility design plans for integration with gas infrastructure

Familiarity with interpreting and applying engineering standards and design specifications

Experience using MicroStation and AutoCAD is preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly
Four-year bachelor's degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering or similar from an ABET accredited college
Proven ability to manage project timelines, prioritize tasks, and meet client-driven deadlines
0-2 years of professional engineering design experience, utility or pipeline design experience is a plus
Adaptable to evolving client needs, new technologies, and engineering tools
