The apprentice will install heating, ventilation, air‑conditioning, refrigeration and related equipment per manufacturer specifications and company requirements. They will use press systems to install copper refrigerant lines, including brazing and soldering, and install flex, duct board, or sheet‑metal duct systems in light‑commercial and multifamily buildings. Inspections will be performed to identify hazards or defects, coordinate repairs for code compliance, and advise superintendents and foremen of any potential safety issues.

Candidates must have at least three years of experience installing HVAC systems. An OSHA 30 certification is preferred, and a high school diploma or GED is required; EPA certification is a plus. Knowledge of IMC and SMACNA guidelines, local codes, and construction safety requirements is essential.
