Independently lead the End Game coordination and preparation of proposals of all sizes, working directly with technical staff; may support large, strategic opportunities, working under the guidance of senior Sales staff
Foster strong, mutually beneficial working relationships with Operations, other Sales Operations staff, Selling Units, and Sales Enablement teams both locally and across the network
Write and update project descriptions/summaries, success stories, and lessons learned, as well as resumes and other documents with little or no supervision
Coordinate/provide direction to graphic designers, document publishers, writers/editors, reprographics specialists, and other support staff, independently coordinate with and collect information from teaming partners and subconsultants
Lead and/or support planning and development of small to mid-sized presentations and interviews
Lead a variety of business development assignments, ranging from proposals to qualification statements, as well as large, strategic, complex efforts
Develop an understanding of and apply business objectives, priorities, and sales strategy, especially as they relate to the End Game proposal process
Prepare and ensure compliant and timely proposal deliverables, including managing proposal process and schedule, and meeting client requirements; communicate issues/variances
Employ and populate/update (as appropriate) business development-related tools and databases
Prioritize own and others’ work to meet proposal/team deliverables
Solve issues independently; identify and implement creative solutions to challenges; escalate to leadership as necessary
Offer suggestions to leadership for improvements/additions and lessons learned to streamline processes, procedures, and tools/databases
Be accountable for QA/QC check of assigned proposals and proposal sections for self and support staff
May participate in opportunity planning/Middle Game activities
Serve as a subject matter expert on, advocate for, and actively apply Sales Operations procedures, policies, protocols, and best practices, including standard file management and archiving procedures, as well as Branding Guidelines
With no supervision, coordinate, write, edit/tailor, and perform research for non-technical proposal sections; ensure compliance; proactively identify, communicate, and mitigate potential issues/variances
Safeguard and implement company image/branding on all proposal assignments
