Work as liaison between model company and field as issues arise
Review third party models for accuracy
Load model specifications onto the equipment, as required
Calculate heights, depths, relative positions, property lines, and other characteristics of terrain

Project site orientation and verification of control
Install GPS equipment on machinery
Maintain a system of tracking survey equipment for issuance on projects
Research different options/technologies in survey equipment
Use systems to perform CAD 3D modeling for smaller projects
As projects are assigned, determine whether it is necessary to engage an external resource to perform modeling. Research external resource options and pricing and secure resources for the project
Prepare and maintain sketches, maps, reports, and as-built surveys

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field. A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
Technical savvy
5 years of survey experience, preferably in the construction industry
Knowledge of applicable laws, legal codes and government regulation
