  • Finalize all inspections to close project.
  • Identify all materials and other resources needed to complete project.
  • Complete work in a timely and efficient manner by planning, prioritizing and mobilizing staff, materials and subcontractors to meet progression schedule.
  • Identify construction "punch list" of items to be remedied and ensure they are completed prior to customer’s inspection.
  • Inspect and approve all sub-contractor's work.
  • May maintain and enforce all SBA and OSHA safety practices, perform daily jobsite safety inspections on equipment prior to operation. Immediately stops work when unsafe work practices or conditions exist.
  • Coordinate resources to meet construction schedules.
  • Assign tasks to fellow crew members and perform civil or tower construction activities such as (These preceding items are civil construction activities), stacking towers, testing, positioning antennas, installing antennas, running coax, etc.
  • Ensure Construction Supervisor is apprised of construction progress, concerns and deviations from plans or established schedule.
  • Coordinate delivery and off-loading of towers, materials, generators and shelters.
  • Train and assist employees in completing tasks. Professionally interact with client’s representatives.
  • Ensure tasks assigned to crew are completed in timely, quality manner.
  • Schedule and coordinate with all local authorities for required inspections.

  • Ability to walk, stand, bend and climb.
  • Visual ability correctable to 20/20.
  • Work near mechanical parts.
  • Domestic Travel 90% of the time and able to operate a company vehicle at the CMV level.
  • and 1+ years of leadership experience.
  • H.S. Diploma/GED
  • Demonstrated knowledge and intermediate proficiency working with Microsoft Office Suite software including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook.
  • Ability to operate a Commercial Motor Vehicle.
  • Ability to reach and stretch.
  • Health Services\Drivers License - MDOT Medical Physical Req
  • and 5+ years tower construction background. Must possess ability to read blueprints, details and specifications, knowledge of Test Equipment, Sweep, PIM & Fiber, and Certification in each, and knowledge of standard knots.
  • or 2+ years tower construction background and NWSA/TTT-1 Certification, both written and practical.
  • Ability to hear, understand and respond appropriately to verbal requests made in person and over the telephone.
  • Ability to work on job site in remote location for extended periods of time.
  • You have a strong work ethic.
  • You are resourceful and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to satisfactorily complete all aspects of SBA’s Tower U training classes.
  • Valid Government Issued Driver's License
  • Ability to stoop and bend.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Must be able to work overtime to include Saturdays, Sundays and evening hours.
  • Very loud noise levels equivalent to earth moving equipment and jack hammers.
  • Must possess the physical ability to climb to heights of up to 500 feet.
  • Standing 90% of the day.
  • English Language Fluency Required.
  • Ability to respond verbally in an understandable, professional manner in person and over the telephone.
