Architecture Design Coordinator: Civic + Cultural

Description

In this role you will be hands‑on from concept through construction, supporting project architects, designers, and managers while contributing to documentation, detailing, and client coordination. The position also offers opportunities to mentor junior designers and to influence sustainable design solutions.

• Assist Project Architects, Designers, and Managers with specific assignments.
• Prepare and manage documentation for schematic design, design development, and construction documents.
• Create, develop, and implement design and detailing solutions.
• Coordinate with clients and support overall project coordination.
• Review submittals and respond to RFIs as part of contract administration.
• Research materials, systems, and construction methods to support design intent.
• Mentor junior designers while receiving guidance from firm leadership.

Requirements

Candidates should hold a bachelor’s or master’s in architecture, have at least five years of experience across design phases, and be proficient in Revit with solid knowledge of building codes and construction methods. Preferred credentials include licensure, LEED accreditation, and familiarity with Rhino and Adobe Creative Suite.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• Minimum 5 years of experience across all design and documentation phases.
• Proficiency in Revit and strong knowledge of building codes, materials, and construction methods.
• Demonstrated creativity, initiative, and problem‑solving ability.
• Preferred: active licensure or pursuit of licensure, LEED accreditation, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite skills.
