Blade Project Planner

Description

The Blade Project Planner will manage the planning process for one or multiple blade design upgrade projects, optimizing task allocation and aligning schedules with execution teams. The role requires close coordination with department heads to maintain realistic and efficient timelines.

• Develop and manage the Gantt chart for implementation project activities.
• Collaborate with operational areas and external contractors to forecast workload and identify potential bottlenecks.
• Adjust schedules based on resource availability, weather conditions, and emerging priorities.
• Track and analyze KPIs related to execution compliance.
• Support cross‑functional teams to successfully deliver the project.
• Provide detailed reports on planning adherence to aid decision‑making.

Requirements

The position is based in Edinburgh, full‑time on a fixed‑term contract, with up to 25 % travel across Europe. Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field and possess strong communication skills in multiple languages.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in scheduling and planning.
• Proficiency in planning software and data visualization tools (e.g., Maximo, Power BI).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and drive process improvements.
• Comprehensive knowledge of wind turbine technology, especially blade design.
• Detailed understanding of wind turbine safety rules.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• High‑level communication ability in multiple languages.
• Availability to travel up to 25 % across Europe.
