• Execute signature programs in dining, fitness, wellness, and care
• Respond promptly and kindly to resident needs while preserving dignity (50%)
• Read and follow care plans to ensure proper care (10%)
• Assist with bathing, dressing, hygiene, meals, and bowel/bladder functions (20%)
• Provide mealtime assistance, including serving and tray delivery (3%)
• Transport residents safely, using proper lifting and transferring techniques (3%)

Requirements

• Display a positive, professional image aligned with MBK core values
• Demonstrate effective time management to complete resident assignments
• Interact tactfully and friendly with residents, families, and guests
• Age 18+ with work permit and authorization
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Nurse's Aid certification preferred
• Current first aid certification
• Background clearances per government regulations
• Negative TB test within 6 months or 7 days of employment
• Prior caregiving experience preferred; on‑the‑job training provided
• Fluent in reading and speaking English
• Ability to follow oral and written directions
• Effective interaction with diverse ages and backgrounds
• Mobile; able to kneel, squat, reach overhead, and bend
• Lift 40+ pounds and push 150 pounds unassisted

The position is for a full‑time caregiver at MuirWoods Memory Care in Petaluma, CA, working Friday through Monday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM with a pay rate of $21.00‑$22.50 per hour. Caregivers assist residents with daily living activities, maintain dignity and safety, follow care plans, and document changes, while also supporting community programs and safety drills.
