  • Read and interpret RFDS and construction drawings to ensure proper installation
  • Maintain strict adherence to OSHA and Terra EHS protocols
  • Perform routine maintenance and documentation of installations
  • Conduct testing and troubleshooting of transmission, fiber, and power systems (including sweep, PIM, and fiber testing)
  • Perform AC/DC wiring, equipment mounting, bracing, clamping, and basic civil work (e.g. concrete bases)
  • Assist in the construction and assembly of small cell components on poles and structures
  • Coordinate with field teams and engineers to ensure optimal system performance
  • Install 4G/5G antennas, RF cabling, radio units, fiber optics, and related equipment

Position Overview: We’re looking for a motivated Small Cell Technician to join our Las Vegas field operations team. In this role, you’ll be a key player in deploying advanced telecommunications infrastructure to include the installation of 4G and 5G antenna components, radio components, RF cabling, AC/DC wiring, various telecommunications equipment, fiber optics and overall testing. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with construction and telecom experience who thrives in fast-paced, outdoor environments.

  • Knowledge of electrical safety practices and OSHA standards
  • Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • Hands-on construction experience in the telecom/wireless industry
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights, if required
  • All candidates must have all the required hand tools to perform job
  • Willingness to work outdoors and in varied field conditions
  • Familiarity with small cell, DAS, and site build projects
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Experience with fiber/COAX testing
  • Ability to read technical drawings and interpret RF documentation
  • Must be able to work in a bucket up to a height of 50ft
