Provide strategic leadership on all aspects of regulatory strategy related to [OpCo] planning, policy, and generation resource acquisition and transmission development proceedings. Also provide strategic leadership on customer program regulatory filings, including demand side management, renewable energy, and transportation and building electrification proceedings.
Represent the Company’s regulatory positions in key external venues such as media outlets, conference panels, and stakeholder negotiations.
Develop and effectively implement a regulatory program to support [OpCo's] strategic objectives in connection with planning, policy, customer program, and resource transition proceedings. Direct the development and execution of all such regulatory case filings in each assigned jurisdiction. Prepare supporting testimony and serve as an expert policy witness in regulatory proceedings.
Advise and consult with executive management to develop positions on energy and other public policy issues, develop appropriate regulatory strategies, and advance jurisdictional policy goals. Keep executive management and internal stakeholders apprised of political, regulatory, and policy issues and trends, as well as progress and outcomes of ongoing regulatory efforts.
Manage and supervise [OpCo] regulatory staff assigned to planning, policy, and resource transition matters to ensure effective representation of [OpCo] objectives. Create and maintain a professional work environment that encourages growth opportunities for [OpCo's] regulatory team.
Establish and maintain effective relationship with key regulators and stakeholders. Develop and implement an intentional outreach program and oversee outreach efforts and activities in support of [OpCo] planning, policy, and resource transition issues.
