- Preparing for and participating in meetings with clients, regulatory personnel, and other parties; and
- Drive personal, company, and rental vehicles to client or company project or office sites, and other business locations, as needed.
- Performing task and project management, including planning and implementing investigation and remediation projects, budgeting and budget management, adherence to schedule, quality, client satisfaction, and profitability;
- Developing remedial strategies and site-specific closure strategies;
- Managing challenging technical projects while leveraging your existing knowledge and experience to help Geosyntec expand its current practices and capabilities through business development and client management;
- Effectively stewarding and building client relationships to repeat business;
- Developing business opportunities with new and existing clients and preparing associated proposals;
- Performing remediation alternatives analysis, feasibility studies and technology selection, remedy implementation cost benefit analysis, and reserve estimating;
- Field work and overnight travel may be required.

- Candidates must currently hold and maintain valid U.S. work authorization. New H-1B visa lottery and employment based green card sponsorship are not available for this position.
- Professional registration (i.e., P.E., P.G., etc.) (required)
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment, handling multiple project assignments, meeting strict deadlines, and traveling to client facilities as needed. (required)
- Experience with multi-disciplinary project teams. (required)
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (civil, chemical, or environmental preferred) or geology. (required)
- Excellent leadership skills. (required)
- Demonstrated success in the development and management of clients. (required)
- Fieldwork and overnight travel will also be necessary.
- Experience managing the overall delivery of projects including, project planning and controls, financial management, change management, risk management, and contract/subcontract management. (required)
- At least 8 years of direct environmental consulting experience in conceptual site model development, regulatory interpretation, and remediation strategy development and implementation; or equivalent combination of education and experience. (required)
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel. (required)
- Advanced degree in the same. (preferred)
- Health & Safety training, medical monitoring, and client-driven drug and background testing may be required.
- Detailed understanding state and federal regulations. (required)
- Current OSHA 40-hr HAZWOPER training and refreshers. (preferred)
