Attend industry seminars and conferences.
Prepare correspondence to borrowers, commercial mortgage brokers, and CMHC Multi-Unit Insurance group.
Document files appropriately in accordance with conventions/guidelines.
Assist with the due diligence and with various parts of the underwriting process including: Lease documentation review, appraisal, building condition and environmental reports review, rent roll analyses, financial statement analyses, replacement cost analyses.
Summarize key findings from research.
Liaise with mortgage servicing, internal legal, credit risk, compliance, portfolio management, asset management and external service providers
Participate in the investment analysis which contributes to the investment decision-making.
Tour properties, conduct market research and analysis of the commercial real estate market.
Assist with closing process and follow up for outstanding due diligence items.
