Four to five years plus of commercial/industrial HVAC experience including exposure to control, compound and reciprocating systems as well as refrigerants. Experience level is based on technician classifications described above.
Advanced diagnosis of air distribution systems (VAV/PIU).
Diagnose issues on large boilers with power burners.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Working knowledge of computer and tablets.
This role is based out of the Huntsville, AL area and will require travel throughout the region.
Understanding of water-cooled chillers, chilled water systems, large chiller rebuilds, rigging, large boilers, pumps, and assist with technical support to other technicians.
Ability to deal with problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.
EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
