Your responsibilities will include producing feasibility studies, outline and detailed designs, and construction support; creating design drawings, selecting mechanical plant and preparing specifications; and delivering high‑quality technical output while contributing to bids and client interfaces.
You will also manage project budgets, programmes and quality, design mechanical installations such as pumping stations, screens, grit removal plants and odour control systems, and conduct site surveys and liaison with clients, contractors and suppliers.
We require a degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) and progress toward Chartered Engineer status with a relevant professional body such as IMechE. Proven experience delivering water or wastewater engineering designs, reports, drawings and calculations is essential.
You will join a recognized multi‑disciplinary team that won the IChemE Global Water Award 2023, giving you exposure to local projects as well as flagship initiatives across the UK and internationally.
