Ensure compliance with legislation and corporate Occupational Health and Safety program with all contractors and staff.
Stay current on best practices in the industry pertaining to building operations, core building systems, and energy management and ensure best practices are continuously reviewed for compatibility and match with the managed portfolio of properties to achieve operational efficiencies.
Assist the Regional Operations Management throughout the Tenant Coordination process by reviewing and providing input on all drawings & managing the Landlord work and tenant improvements from beginning to end.
Remain current and up to date with new industry practices, legislative changes, and new technologies.

5+ years’ experience in an enclosed shopping centre (preferred), with progressive experience in all areas of building operations, including mechanical, fire and safety, electrical, and HVAC systems
Strong organizational, planning and time management skills
Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills
Ability to write specifications and contract documents
Experience with building redevelopment projects is considered a strong asset
