Global consultancy delivering advisory, technology & managed services to commercial and government clients.
The internship is positioned within Guidehouse's Digital Travel team, focusing on driving technology strategy and delivery excellence for State & Local Government clients. Interns will support successful project execution, pipeline growth, and alignment with organizational goals while leading initiatives across sales, delivery, and innovation and fostering strong client and partner relationships.
As an intern supporting TAL/TPAL, you will serve as the operational backbone for account execution, tracking and converting swing factors into outcomes, orchestrating deliberate coverage of economic and technical buyers and ecosystem partners such as Microsoft, AWS, and Salesforce, and maintaining pipeline hygiene and whitespace mapping. You will also contribute to deal‑level win‑strategy plans and update booked‑vs‑plan figures on a weekly basis.
You will help advance a product‑over‑projects operating model by supporting roadmaps, OKRs, and platform economics—including build‑once‑reuse‑everywhere, APIs, and multi‑tenant services—while championing secure‑by‑design and privacy‑preserving AI and operationalizing SRE, FinOps, and MLOps practices.
Each week you will run evidence checks on open actions, produce a concise one‑page progress report, calculate an Account Execution Health Score with rationale, and prepare risk‑escalation emails when thresholds are triggered. This work will provide sharp, actionable preparation for executive meetings, deal strategy sessions, and partner leverage.
Interns will collaborate with internal teams on AI and data projects, manage presentations, handle day‑to‑day project logistics, and engage in a variety of tasks across strategy, process improvement, analytics, information technology, communications, and project management. Regular meetings with senior leaders will support personal and professional development, and social outings will foster community among interns.
Candidates must be enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate degree program through Fall 2026 and graduate by Summer 2027, be able to work in the United States without sponsorship (U.S. citizenship required for security clearance), and be eligible to obtain and maintain a Public Trust, Secret, or higher federal security clearance. On‑site work schedules must be adhered to as directed.
Guidehouse offers a 10‑week Summer 2026 internship (June 8 – August 14) that includes learning and development sessions, mid‑point and final evaluations, corporate social responsibility events, networking activities, an intern speaker series, and collaborative group projects. Each intern is paired with a buddy to help navigate the Guidehouse experience and gain meaningful consulting exposure.
