Actively participates in open, honest, and effective communication with company personnel at all levels.
Consistently reviews shop drawings to insure quality and accuracy prior to distribution to the field.
Develops strong personal relationships and hold peers in our organization personally accountable for their duties and responsibilities.
Stay up to date on current and future software development to maintain proficiency.
Verifies that all RFI’s written are followed through to construction drawings.
Creates accurate record drawings from red-lined field markups.
Generates concise Request For Information (RFI’s) or field questions when questions or discrepancies arise on contract drawings or specifications.
Communicates effectively and keep open lines of communication with CAD Manager and Field Team. Communicates any outstanding job or departmental issues with the CAD Manager.
Communicates with Project Supervision to determine detailing scope.
Work in conformity with company Pipe and CAD Standards and detailing practices.
Verifies that all drawings are complete to a constructible state.
Participate in the improvement of company's Pipe and CAD Standards and detailing practices.
Creates clean, usable working backgrounds.
Establishes drawings and document format required to complete job.
Modifies drawings as changes occur and expedite changes to field.
Participates in department meetings and communicates ideas for improvement.
Assists project staff with drawing requirements and priorities.

This position requires the ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 25 pounds on a regular basis. The employee must be capable of performing physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and lifting within OSHA ergonomic safety guidelines. Safe lifting techniques must be used to comply with all applicable workplace safety standards.

Must possess a working knowledge and ability to use software platforms required to produce accurate production level drawing.
