Ensures safety requirements and measures are integrated in all logistics activities, procedures, and goals
Oversees Logistics Service Provider performance to ensure services are carried out as contracted for and to ensure that project requirements are satisfied
Develops, plans, conducts, or arranges training of project logistics personnel
Represents logistics at supplier/contractor kickoff meetings to review supplier delivery and Bechtel Logistics requirements contained in purchase and contract documents
Recommends changes to policies and establishes procedures that affect immediate organization(s)
Identifies transport cost and service alternatives to support materials/equipment purchase decisions

Ensures Logistics Service Provider Services are acquired in accordance with Bechtel Supply Chain Governance
Performs domestic and international shipment responsibilities in support of project requirements to ensure the safe, timely, and economical delivery of goods to meet project requirements
Prepares and presents Logistics Service Provider commercial bid tabs, commitment authorizations, and contract documents for approval by project and customer management
Monitors performance of Logistics Service Providers to ensure project support
Ensures entry of shipment tracking data into Transport Management System (TMS) and other functional systems to provide shipment status visibility
