• Deliver technical product presentations to various audiences.
• Conduct classroom and hands‑on field training seminars at customer sites.
• Organize seminars by ordering samples, preparing literature and creating PowerPoint decks.
• Lead project demos and job‑start installations in the field.
• Provide scheduled product knowledge training for Territory Managers and retail customers.
• Educate Territory Managers to drive sales and collaborate on a rotational basis.
• Perform job walks, site evaluations, technical recommendations, and claim investigations.
• Host customer events and dinners.
• Create PowerPoint presentations for seminars, architectural briefings and contractor clinics.

Requirements

Based in Dalton, Georgia, Shaw is a wholly‑owned Berkshire Hathaway subsidiary with over $6 billion in annual sales and 18,000 associates worldwide. The Tile and Totalworx Manager serves as Shaw’s technical expert for tile, stone and installation systems, delivering training and field support to drive product adoption and installation excellence. The role blends hands‑on flooring expertise with strong presentation skills to educate Territory Managers, retail partners and customers through seminars, job‑start demos and technical consultations.

The position works an 8‑hour non‑rotating shift with occasional overtime and weekends, and requires the ability to lift up to 70 lb, stand or walk for extended periods, and reside within the region. • Minimum two years flooring installation experience with tile, stone, concrete repair and adhesives.
• Confident presenter capable of training large groups.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Strong mechanical and hands‑on skills; able to prioritize and multitask.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Ability to work overtime/weekends, lift 70 lb (carry 55 lb), and stand/walk for long periods.
