In the Innovation Strategy & Leadership area, the manager evaluates current corporate, AE, and CS processes to identify candidates for AI and innovation tools, supports process improvements, and creates an AI roadmap aligned with firmwide digital transformation goals. They partner with AE & CS presidents, IT, and team members to research, pilot, and evaluate emerging AI technologies that enhance design, engineering, and construction efficiency, quality, risk reduction, and creative solution delivery.
For AI Implementation & Integration, the manager collaborates with project teams to embed AI into workflows such as BIM automation, generative design, predictive scheduling, bid packages, and quality assurance. They work with the CEO and Presidents to maximize AI benefits for projects, clients, and stakeholders, and partner with IT and data teams to ensure secure, scalable adoption.
Change Management & Training responsibilities include leading initiatives that drive adoption of AI‑enabled tools, identifying training needs, designing workshops, and translating complex AI concepts into practical use cases for teams and clients. The manager guides teams through new tool and workflow adoption and works with the training manager to ensure efficient implementation.
In Collaboration & Client Engagement, the manager serves as an internal and external ambassador for AI innovation, participates in industry forums, collaborates with clients on AI‑enabled project delivery solutions, and shares thought leadership through presentations, case studies, and events.
The position requires a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Computer/Data Science, or Business Administration with a technology focus, 8–15 years of professional experience, at least 5 years in AEC, and 3–5 years leading technology or digital transformation initiatives. Candidates must have demonstrated success implementing AI solutions at scale and be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Key soft skills include curiosity and adaptability to rapidly evolving AI, strong problem‑solving abilities to spot inefficiencies, and collaboration skills to bridge silos between IT, design, engineering, and operations.
