Perform GPS of new assets in coordination with GIS Department as needed.
Climb ladders and structures.
Operate assets/equipment in the field for projects i.e. valve turning, flushing, line locating, leak detection.
Tracks water usage on projects for NRW.
Work overtime and off-hours as required by workload.
Inspects new and replacement infrastructure projects.
Uses computer based file management/input for recording/tracking/confirming work on projects.
Resolves conflicts between design and field conditions in a timely manner consistent with good engineering and construction practices.
Work outside in all weather conditions.
Communicates via letters, e-mail, and phone, with Contractor/Developer, government officials, and customers.
Inspects, coordinates, and delivers miscellaneous capital projects as assigned.
Performs field testing and inspection of projects. Ensures that outside contractors perform work in accordance with Company and governmental policies and procedures.
Reviews GIS as-built points of jobs to ensure accuracy and complete information.
Assist in updating and executing annual pre-qualified contractor specifications.
Assists in the review of design and layout of water distribution facilities.
Prepares design material take offs. Assists in purchasing and receiving of materials. Performs issue and return of materials to/from inventory. Performs routine inventory count as necessary for Engineering assets.

Lift and carry up to 60 lbs.
Self directed/works with little supervision.
Read, write, analyze, interpret, and reason.
Water distribution projects in PA cover Harrisburg, Mechanicsburg, Dallas, and Bloomsburg service areas. All candidates must be willing to be in the Allentown Blvd office at least once a week and be able to travel to all regions as projects require.
Some College preferred.
Strong Project Management Skills.
Willingness to acquire Class E DEP Water License within 1 year.
Strong Excel, Google, and or data base computer skills.
Ability to read design drawings.
Speak and hear sufficiently to communicate and be understood both in person and over the telephone.
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
Able to facilitate material distribution using forklift.
High School Diploma/GED is required.
Forklift Operator Certified.
Strong Interpersonal and Oral Communication skills.
