Interpret and develop architectural sketches, specifications, and CAD or manual drafting.
Control the flow of documents and drawings in and out at all project stages.
Develop concept / schematic designs to detailed designs and construction details for tender, ensuring regulatory compliance.
Where required, guide and supervise the work of Junior Technical Coordinators.
Liaise with consultants on matters of building regulations as directed by the Project Director / Associate / Architect.
Check drawings for compliance to planning and building regulations.
Control drawing and documentation templates and maintain ISO and practice standards.
Assist the Project Architect during site inspections on matters of building regulations.
Filing and archiving all relevant documents including BIM models / drawings, and ensure proper records are kept.
Record and organise the filing and retrieval of submission drawings and authorities’ information.
May be appointed as the Document Controller for the project including but not limited to the following duties:
Attend site or consultant meetings on matters of building regulations.
Coordinate the preparation and submission of forms, drawings, and information required by authorities for approval, waivers and consultations at all project stages.

Diploma in Architecture or equivalent from an accredited institution, with relevant experience in a similar role.
At least 2 to 7 years of relevant experience.
Organised and methodical with attention to detail.
Acute knowledge and application of planning and building codes and regulations, regulatory submissions and processes.
Ability to take initiative, work methodically, and autonomously.
Well-versed with 2D and 3D design software and technologies, such as AutoCAD, Revit and Microsoft suite.
Candidates with more experience will be considered for a Senior Technical Coordinator role.
