Lead evaluation of EPC/turnkey contractors for evacuation infrastructure.
Review and finalize scope, design interfaces, and execution strategy in alignment with engineering, procurement and project planning teams.
Oversee grid synchronization protocols, SOP compliance, and commissioning documentation in collaboration with internal QA/QC and external consultants.
Ensure timely delivery of A-class OEM equipment and critical components, coordinating closely with SCM and logistics.
Own end-to-end responsibility for execution of power evacuation systems, including substations (AIS/GIS), bays, and transmission lines up to 220 kV and above.
Direct site-level construction activities including civil, electrical, and structural works for substations, bays, and transmission lines.
Prepare detailed execution plans (L1 to L3 schedules), aligning with project timelines, resource availability, and risk assessment.
Manage all testing and commissioning activities of HV equipment including CT/PT, breakers, isolators, protection systems, SCADA, and grid interfacing.
Ensure quality of execution in accordance with technical standards, OEM specifications, and project requirements.
Conduct daily and weekly progress reviews with internal teams and contractors to ensure milestone adherence.
Construction Supervision
Monitor contractor performance across scope, schedule, quality, and safety KPIs.
Maintain project KPIs for execution, safety, and performance—ensuring targets are met or exceeded.
Identify critical risks across project phases and implement mitigation plans to avoid execution delays or interface mismatches.
Monitor budgets and cost exposure related to evacuation infrastructure, highlighting deviations and optimizing resources.
Drive grid compliance testing including PFR, AVR, Reactive Power Capability, Voltage Ride Through, and Harmonics in line with CEA/CERC norms.

15+ years of experience in power evacuation for renewable/utility-scale projects

Prior experience in executing 132/220 kV substations and 100+ km transmission line projects
Expert in project commissioning protocols, grid compliance testing, and performance validation
Proven track record of delivering projects of 200+ MW capacity including evacuation infrastructure
