Prepare construction scope of work documents for the purpose of obtaining proposals/bids from contractors.
Work with the process engineering team to ensure selected instrumentation meets customer specification and approved manufacturer list.
Ensure the instrumentation ordered is accurately shown on P&ID’s with complete control loops.
Inspect field work to verify compliance with “Issued for Construction Drawings”.
Produce instrumentation specific documentation (Data Sheets, Instrument Index, Setpoint Lists and Hook up drawings).
Assist in the commissioning of instrumentation in the field if required.
Stay up to date on new technologies and use this knowledge to improve Enerflex packaging standards.
Provide technical support to shop and field technicians as required.
Create configuration sheets, and support shop and field technicians with configuration of instrumentation.
Assist in the preparation of construction drawings and specifications in conjunction with our in-house mechanical, architectural, and civil/structural design teams.
Work with vendors to select and order correct instrumentation for applications.

Experience with Allen Bradley control systems an asset.
Experience in Equipment condition monitoring systems such as Bently Nevada and Rockwell XM an asset.
Strong working knowledge and application of instrumentation in hazardous locations specifically in the oil and gas sector.
Instrumentation Technologist Diploma, or Journeyman Instrumentation Technician an asset.
In depth knowledge of flow meter and gas analyzer technology.
5+ years of experience in instrumentation related role.
Experience with ROC flow computers an asset.
