We expect the employee to keep manager and supervisors apprised of their progress, maintain ability to work well with others, adhere to contract requirements, and comply with company policies and procedures.
While performing duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand and/or walk for long periods at a time, sit, use of hands and fingers, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, climb ladders, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk or hear, or smell.
Perform routine tasks such as cable pulling, mounting support, and basic wiring under supervision.
Follow safety guidelines and procedures to prevent damage to equipment and injury to personnel.
Support Audio Visual Technicians during installation, testing, and repair tasks by providing tools, lifting, and positioning equipment.
Support the disposition of equipment and furniture as required
General labor will be required such as painting, wall repair, assembly and disassembly of equipment.
Prepare and organize work areas by setting up cables, mounts, and protective coverings for AV/IT equipment installation or maintenance.
Clean and maintain AV/IT equipment and storage areas to ensure proper operation and organization.
Assist in the loading, unloading, and transportation of audio-visual equipment and materials to and from work sites.

Good communication and teamwork skills to support technical staff.
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively under supervision.
Must be able to lift and carry heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs).
May include lifting weight up to fifty (50) pounds as necessary.
Ability to perform physical tasks involving lifting, bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
Must be a US citizen.
Ability to work in various physical conditions, including confined spaces and elevated areas.
Familiarity with Audio Visual Systems.
Must have the ability to obtain a secret clearance within 120 day of hire
Ability to effectively communicate with all team members.
Basic knowledge of audio-visual equipment and tools is helpful but not required; on-the-job training is provided.
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
