What you would be doing

- Attending to customers, informing them of works to be carried out and answering any concerns as well as timescales
- You will be operating a Class 2 vehicle (either a Cityflex or Recycler), ensuring vehicle checks are done prior to departing the site
- Assist with CCTV inspections where required to assess the condition of underground pipes and sewers.
- You will be working closely with another Drainage Engineer to clean, camera and carry out sewer investigations as directed by United Utilities
- Operate high-pressure water jetting equipment to clean and clear blockages in drains, sewers, pipes, and other wastewater systems.
- Inspect drainage systems to identify blockages, leaks, or damage that could hinder water flow
- Ensuring safety issues are reported in line with company procedures

- Excellent listening and communication skills
- Competent in IT, accurate data entry
- A manual UK Drivers licence is mandatory with no more than 6 penalty points
- Competent in using an electronic device - laptop / tablet for data entry purposes
- Holding a Class 2 licence with a valid in date CPC
- Experience is desirable however if you're looking to start your career within utilities full training will be offered.
- Overtime paid at time and a half
- 20 Days holiday plus Bank Holidays accruing 1 day per year up to a maximum of 25 days

- Salary: £34,815-£36,950 per annum (depending on experience)

- Hours: 50 hours per week (Monday to Friday, days. Flexible start times)
