Lead Solar Installer

Description

This is a contract, full-time role for a Lead Solar Installer based on-site in Sevenoaks. The Lead Solar Installer will oversee the installation and maintenance of solar systems while ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times. Daily tasks include setting up solar panels, using hand and power tools, troubleshooting system issues, and ensuring optimal functionality and durability. The role will also include leading installation teams, conducting system inspections, coordinating with clients, and maintaining equipment in excellent working conditions.

Requirements

• Leadership and team management skills
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and health and safety guidelines
• Experience working in the Solar Industry and familiarity with its standards
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Qualifications in electrical or renewable energy fields are an advantage
• Ability to proficiently use Power Tools and Hand Tools for installations and maintenance
• Proven expertise in Solar Power and Solar Systems
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites
