Floor Technicians at Velociti are responsible for maintaining hard surface and carpet floors in offices, corridors, lobbies, entrances, stairwells, and public areas. Their duties include stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, extraction, and bonneting.
The position involves regular preventative maintenance checks, securing work areas, routine floor care tasks such as mopping, buffing, vacuuming, shampooing, and cleaning walls, dusting, restrooms, offices, and break rooms, as well as upkeep of floor‑care equipment.
- Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures

- Take direction and respond to supervision
- Communicate professionally with lead, supervisor, co‑workers, managers, and customers
- Fill in during staff shortage

- Take directions from Facility Manager, Key Account Manager, or District Manager
- Coordinate activities with other internal departments
- Participate in team meetings
- Perform preventative maintenance checks on all equipment before use
- Secure work area and post safety notices before beginning work
- Conduct routine mopping (dry and damp), buffing, and burnishing of hard surfaces and stairwells
- Clean walls

- Vacuum, shampoo, bonnet, and extract carpets, stairwells, and upholstery
