The Community Manager oversees all on‑site operations of a housing community under a Regional Manager, directing personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial, administrative and risk‑management functions while ensuring compliance with Asset Living policies, safety standards and fair‑housing guidelines.
- Recruit, hire, train, coach and develop on‑site staff; maintain schedules and address performance issues per company standards.
- Achieve optimal net operating income through cost control, revenue enhancement, budgeting and timely rent collection and vendor invoice processing.
- Create and execute annual marketing and leasing plans; lead resident showings, lease signings, and implement retention programs such as events and newsletters.
- Oversee administrative reporting, emergency response coordination, and ensure prompt maintenance service and property upkeep through inspections and vendor management.
- Meet physical demands including standing for long periods, lifting up to 25 lb, climbing ladders, and responding to emergencies on evenings, weekends and holidays.

- Hold a high school diploma (Bachelor’s preferred) with relevant housing industry experience; CAM or ARM certification desired.
- Demonstrate basic computer proficiency, knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.
- Possess reliable transportation for on‑call emergency duties.
