The Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the lawns, fields, walkways, roads, and parking lots at the client location, ensuring a clean and safe environment for occupants. This role supports C&W Services’ mission to deliver high‑quality grounds maintenance to the client.
Daily tasks include mowing with hand or power mowers, trimming and edging around walkways and flower beds, and pruning shrubs and trees to promote healthy growth. The groundskeeper also applies fertilizers, herbicides, and insecticides, rakes leaves, cleans litter, and plants and waters grass, flowers, trees, and shrubs. Additional duties involve repairing fences, gates, walls, and walkways, maintaining drainage ditches, operating tractor‑mounted equipment such as spreaders and rollers, and sharpening tools. All work is performed in accordance with C&W Services health‑and‑safety regulations.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited apprenticeship or trade school program is a plus. At least three years of groundskeeping experience with a multi‑skill set in landscaping, irrigation, and equipment operation is required. Applicants must be able to lift up to 50 lb, operate golf carts, and work rotational shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Compensation is $15.15 per hour, with eligibility for a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, vision, dental, flexible spending and health‑savings accounts, retirement plans, life and disability insurance, and paid or unpaid time off.
