- Lead structural engineering for multiple solar projects, delivering on schedule.

The company is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to oversee utility-scale and distributed-generation solar project design. The role involves managing and preparing construction deliverables such as drawings and calculations for solar power arrays, including tracker and foundation design, construction drawing preparation, coordination with project EORs, and construction administration. The role requires traveling at least 10-20 % of the time for company off-sites, conferences, trade shows, site visits, and other events. Duties and responsibilities may evolve over time as business needs change.
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering.
- Possess at least 5 years of foundation design experience, preferably with driven steel piles.
- Apply knowledge of ASCE 7 and AISC standards.
- Understand geotechnical principles such as soil layers, L-Pile parameters, and frost heave.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and L-Pile.
- Demonstrate strong communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license in any state (preferred).
- Travel 10-20% of the time for off-sites, conferences, and site visits.
Benefits
The position offers a base salary range of $115,000 to $130,000 per year, with total compensation determined by experience, skillset, and location. Additional components may include bonuses, commissions, and stock options.
