Direct and/or participate in project site visits to monitor, review and sign-off electrical installations

Provide support for fee and capital budget proposals as required
Lead projects from an electrical perspective as part of a multi-discipline team
Attend and participate in client and PM Group meetings
Monitor electrical engineering staff at junior levels, if required
Check other electrical engineers work for accuracy and quality; undertake peer reviews
Analyze complex engineering problems and offer effective solutions
Assemble and manage bid, approval, and construction issue electrical packages in an efficient and lean manner

Professional Engineering (PE) License or a committed path to licensure is required
Proven experience delivering the complete suite of electrical engineering design services, which may include, but are not limited to:
Commercial awareness with the ability to undertake value engineering activities, implement new technologies and, where they are implemented, provide cost effective solutions for PM Group clients
Ability to coordinate the electrical design within multi-discipline teams
Strong working knowledge of carrying out short circuit calculations, load flow and discrimination studies utilizing proprietary modelling software (SKM)
Professional approach and demeanor - A principled and ethical approach to safety, quality, environmental protection and business
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
Writing narratives that describe the electrical and special system to include user requirements specification sand sequences of operation
Advanced knowledge of all applicable electrical engineering codes, standards and acceptable industry practices
MV and LV power distribution, generators, UPS systems, lighting & emergency lighting, vertical transportation, small power, voice / data, cable containment, fire alarm, security, lightning protection, grounding & bonding, hazardous areas and specialist control systems.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are required in addition to the ability to prepare written specifications and contract documents
The ability to travel as needed for client and project development
8+ Years of formal experience in industrial engineering design (Life Science experience is relevant)
Experience working with AutoCAD and Revit
