The primary purpose of the position is to perform advanced technical and engineering problem‑solving in support of nuclear plant operations, making critical technical decisions while applying detailed knowledge of industry codes and regulations.
Key duties include providing technical expertise for engineering analysis and programs, identifying and resolving equipment and system issues, managing engineering tasks with accuracy and compliance, conducting independent research and studies, and recommending improvements to performance, construction, cost, and code compliance. The role also involves participating in emergency response, outage support, and other assignments as directed by management.
Mid‑level candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline (chemical, civil/structural, electrical, industrial, mechanical, or nuclear) and have at least two years of nuclear or related experience, while Senior candidates require five years of such experience. All applicants must meet the ANSI/ANS‑3.1‑2014 qualification standards, maintain required access clearances, and pass a favorable medical examination.
Preferred qualifications include experience with raw water systems, long‑term asset management, troubleshooting emergent system issues, Professional Engineer registration, and advanced technical degrees or related coursework.

The expected salary range is $95,000‑$105,000 for Mid‑level engineers and $124,000‑$138,000 for Senior engineers, plus the full benefits package.
