The role supports this mission by managing the corrective action program (CAP) and acting as a liaison between business teams to ensure timely resolution of non-compliance issues.
The incumbent administers the CAP software and database, reviews daily condition reports, validates trend codes, and assists in screening and classification of issues. They monitor key metrics such as aging and closure of condition reports, verify the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions, and participate in the Corrective Action Review Board. The position also champions inter-departmental collaboration, drives continuous improvement, and provides regular progress reports.
A bachelor’s degree in any discipline and typically three years of relevant experience are required, along with knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or ASME NQA-1. The position is located in Rockville, MD, with a standard Monday‑Friday schedule (8 am‑5 pm) and occasional onsite travel of about 5 %.
Compensation is based on education, experience, and other qualifications, with a salary range of $66,375 to $110,625 for this level. This range reflects base salary only and does not include benefits or other incentives.
