The Installation and Maintenance Field Manager oversees daily field operations of I&M teams, ensuring high standards of work quality, productivity, and safety. The role involves managing I&M technicians and vendors, meeting project milestones, and requires strategic thinking, strong technical knowledge of fiber optics, and leadership experience in telecom or cable industries.
- Lead and mentor I&M Technicians and vendors, ensuring adherence to company standards and FCC compliance.
- Oversee quality control and safety compliance for all installation and maintenance activities.
- Manage daily schedules, optimize productivity, and address staffing needs for upcoming projects.
- Coordinate resources with Senior Manager, Project Management, Network Operations, Engineering, and vendors to meet project timelines across Florida.
- Handle customer escalations related to installation and repair, keeping customers informed and resolving issues.
- Participate in field testing and maintenance to ensure network stability and compliance with design specifications.
- Communicate technical updates and field issues to customers and stakeholders, providing timely reports.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and FCC compliance, delivering regular updates to senior leadership.

- Possess technical knowledge of Wi‑Fi access points, field service platforms, and switch/router installation/configuration.
- Demonstrate strong analytical, project management, and organizational skills, proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Ability to travel within Florida, work daily in the field, and adapt to variable schedules.
