Heavy Equipment Shop Technician (Mechanic)

Description

• Create, assign, and monitor work orders using the T3 platform.
• Track service intervals, order parts, and diagnose issues across multiple equipment makes and models.
• Perform maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer equipment.
• Follow safe job practices and OSHA guidelines.
• Document work performed electronically on laptops or tablets daily.
• Train lower‑level technicians as needed.
• Assist with equipment and parts pick‑up and delivery.
• Maintain complete electronic documentation of work orders.

Requirements

The position is based at our rental facility in Weatherford, TX. We seek a motivated individual to maintain and repair a variety of customer‑ and company‑owned heavy equipment and aerial lifts, while working on the newest fleet in the industry.

• Own required tools for the position.
• Advanced mechanical aptitude and extensive tool knowledge.
• In‑depth knowledge of construction equipment and ability to read schematics and diagrams.
• Strong customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
• High school diploma required; trade school certificate preferred; field service/maintenance experience preferred.
• Physical ability to move, stand, stoop, bend, and lift up to 50 lb as needed.
• Pass a 10‑panel drug screen and background check.

Benefits

Work hours are Monday‑Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with overtime pay after 40 hours and occasional weekend on‑call in special circumstances.
