Conduct assessments and evaluations of existing structures
Assist with developing budgets and scopes of work
Perform peer reviews and expert reporting

Familiarity with rehabilitation of existing bridges and other highway structures
Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Extensive experience with layout & design of bridges and related highway structures
Valid multi-State Professional Engineering Licensure (P.E.) in MD. Licenses in surrounding states such as VA, PA, NC, SC and/or NY is a plus
Possesses knowledge/understanding of finite element and 2D/3D modeling program(s)
Minimum of 8+ years of project engineering experience
Familiarity with design and analysis using various materials including steel, precast and cast-in-place concrete; prestressed and post-tensioned concrete and timber.
Comfortable performing in an environment that requires independent evaluation, judgment and decision making
Possesses knowledge of MDTA design software
Proficient with Microstation and OpenRoads
Well versed in MDTA and SHA standards, procedures and specifications
Valid Professional Engineering Licensure (P.E.) in Maryland
Ability to work independently and as part of a project team
