Responsible for production meeting daily schedule to insure on time delivery with the least amount of overtime required
Supervise operations to ensure positive labor efficiency and variance through proper headcount
Submit reports on performance and progress to direct manager
Communicate job expectations, coaching, counseling and disciplining employees
Follow company safety policies and programs to promote a safety first culture throughout the facility
Follow training and cross training program and implement for production staff
Facilitate daily shift meetings
Check production output and identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements to address the issues with employees
Maintain high level of quality throughout the manufacturing process
Oversee and verify each stage of the process is properly using the correct amount and type of material

Minimum 5-10 years of experience in manufacturing/engineering related
Experience with payroll systems is a plus
No travel required for this position
Ability to read blue prints
Good understanding of safety, quality, productivity, inventory, employee relations
Computer and keyboarding skills -Spreadsheets, Database and Word Processing
Good interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal
Must be able to work overtime when necessary
Minimum of High School Diploma or GED; 2 year technical/associate degree preferred.
