The Shift Engineer position in Property and Asset Management is based on the residential site in Mohali. The role ensures that all technical services remain operational during shift duty, leads the engineering team, and coordinates technical issues with the Property Manager and occupants.
Key responsibilities include managing electromechanical and utility services, implementing planned preventive maintenance, conducting regular inspections, and overseeing vendor relationships. The engineer also handles budgeting, monitors SLA and KPI performance, manages documentation for assets under defect liability, and drives energy‑conservation initiatives.
Safety and emergency preparedness are central to the role; the engineer ensures work permits, follows safe‑working procedures, participates in evacuation drills, and creates corrective, preventive and emergency response plans. Collaboration with regional, headquarters and training teams helps maintain engineering reports and achieve the “No Safety No Work” slogan.
Ideal candidates are analytical, meticulous, and possess strong problem‑solving abilities. A degree or diploma in Electrical or Mechanical engineering (or equivalent) with 3–5 years of experience in real estate, hotel or construction maintenance—preferably on residential sites—is required.
