Engineering Manager – Natural Gas & Energy Infrastructure

Description

As the Engineering Manager, you will oversee technical engineering and design deliverables, provide team leadership, and capture and delivery of key infrastructure projects.

• Own all technical aspects of assigned projects, ensuring quality deliverables and successful execution across stations, pipeline replacement, gas distribution, and RNG systems.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team of Civil, Mechanical, and Process Engineers.
• Oversee equipment specification, bid package development, technical and commercial evaluations, and drawing reviews.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while identifying and developing new business opportunities.
• Coordinate with process and development teams to implement standardized proposal and project workflows.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, leads, vendors, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
• Act as a primary client interface—conduct meetings, support business development, and promote company services.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and training programs to support team development and maintain a strong group identity and positive morale.
• Serve as Design Lead/Project Manager, leading kickoff meetings and establishing project layout plans.

Requirements

Project Resource Collective is seeking a highly skilled Engineering Manager to lead our clients engineering and design team, supporting natural gas, pipeline, and RNG projects. This role is ideal for a technical leader who thrives in both project execution, client development, and staff management.

• Experience in the utility gas industry and/or RNG
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering is preferred).
• CA PE License
• 10+ years of engineering experience
