The Project Manager role is integral to daily operations and supports the Development and Construction Management department. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong leadership, deep project‑management expertise, and a track record delivering high‑quality work on complex entitlement projects such as Specific Plans and General Plan Amendments. Experience with CEQA processes, existing relationships with jurisdiction staff, and a comprehensive understanding of Environmental Impact Reports are essential.
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree and have five to seven years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination. Required skills include leadership, knowledge of entitlement and post‑entitlement processes, strong communication, emotional intelligence, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and development‑related software such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or Bluebeam is preferred, along with experience reading technical reports, construction drawings, and municipal codes.
