In this senior construction director role, you will provide strategic project leadership across multidisciplinary project teams, manage high-value client relationships, contribute to business development and support the growth of the project management function. You will also play a key role in work-winning, fee proposals and client development across the Midlands and UK-wide.
As an Associate Director Project Manager in Nottingham, you will take a lead role in the delivery of major industrial and logistics construction projects, acting as a trusted client advisor from inception through to completion.
- Report project performance and strategic risks to construction senior leadership.
- Develop and mentor junior and senior project management staff.
- Build long-term client relationships across the industrial and logistics sectors and support repeat business.
- Chair client, consultant and stakeholder meetings.
- Ensure full compliance with CDM 2015, ISO standards, HSE regulations and internal quality management systems.
- Oversee project budgets, commercial performance, construction programmes and risk registers.
- Support resource planning, operational development and divisional strategy as part of the senior construction project team.
- Oversee cost planning, value engineering and change control processes.
- Manage multidisciplinary consultancy and construction design teams, coordinating architects, engineers and construction specialist consultants.
- Manage construction projects under NEC and JCT contracts and other relevant forms of contract.
- Lead the delivery of large-scale industrial and logistics construction projects across Nottingham and the wider Midlands, including distribution centres, warehouses and manufacturing facilities.
- Provide strategic project leadership and direction from feasibility through to completion.
- Actively contribute to business development for this growing construction consultancy, including bid writing, fee proposals and client presentations.

- Degree in Construction Management, Project Management or a related built environment discipline (desirable).
