- Assures completeness of investigative coverage; screens investigative reports by identifying and analyzing derogatory and mitigating information, prepares detailed written case histories and case evaluations and analysis of all available information, and makes written determinations and recommends further action and processing.
- Attend and complete professional development training as it relates to Personnel Security.
- Correctly enters information and data into all required personnel security databases.

- Proven time management skills.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook), and experience in performing data entry.
- Ability to analyze data and resolve issues where discrepancies may exist.
- Maintaining accuracy and attention to detail is essential.
- Active DOE Q clearance.
- Proven professional communication and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to work independently in a deadline-oriented environment with little supervision.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or one to three years of experience in analyzing data derived from multiple reference points for a personnel security program.
- Excellent technical writing skills, including producing easily understandable, concise reports without technical errors that are also grammatically correct.
- Ability to synthesize information and identify key findings.
- All written products must be professionally prepared, and technically and grammatically correct without errors.
