Description

• Use muscles to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects
• Assemble all roof components in an efficient and safe manner
• Install projects adhering to Freedom Forever plan sets
• Strictly follow all Freedom Forever safety regulations and policies
• Ensure all work is performed in strict compliance with Freedom Forever policies, applicable codes (Ex: NFPA-70, IRC, IFC, CA-T24, etc)
• Provide recommendations for efficiency and compliance gains through appropriate channels
• Hold the arm and hand in one position or hold the hand steady while moving the arm
• Make quick, precise adjustments to machine controls
• Loading and unloading materials to and from the roof/structure being installed on
• Use one or two hands to grasp, move, or assemble objects
• Move two or more limbs together (for example, two arms, two legs, or one leg and one arm) while remaining in place
• Provide onsite guidance and recommendations to Installer I’s and Installer II’s
• Ensure customer satisfaction
• Use fingers to grasp, move, or assemble very small objects
• Determine the distance between objects
• Follow all direction given by senior members of the crew
• Serve as the roof lead when roof lead is not present
• Flashing penetrations as needed to ensure project quality
• Perform PV array electrical work independently (wire modules, DC/AC homerun, Junction Box etc.)
• Use their hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls
• Use stomach and lower back muscles to support the body for long periods without getting tired
• Perform ground and final wire electrical work both independently and under direct supervision
• Keep or regain the body's balance or stay upright when in an unstable position
• Paid Time-Off ***Residential Solar*** POSITION SUMMARY: The Installer is responsible for assembling, installing and/or maintaining solar photovoltaic (PV) systems on varying surfaces (rooftop, ground mount, use specific structures, etc.). Daily activities are inclusive of, but not limited to, measuring, cutting, drilling, working from height, minor electrical work, assisting with structural upgrades, using hand/power tooling, reading plan-sets, following direction, following safe work practices, and assisting senior members of the designated installation team. This position is required to help mentor/train the Installer I and Installer II positions. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Climb ladders, scaffolds, or poles
• Loading and unloading Company vehicle with project materials
• Repeat the same movements

Requirements

• React quickly using hands, fingers, or feet
• Compliant installation of conduit (EMT, RMC, IMC, LFMC and FMC)
• Ability to communicate with others professionally and concisely
• Some domestic travel may be required
• Follow written and verbal instructions
• 1-2 years PV installation experience (Preferred)
• May be required to drive a Freedom Forever vehicle
• Kneel, stoop, crouch, or crawl
• Lift 50+ pounds
• Basic understanding of building standards and applicable codes
• High School Graduate or GED
• Understand the speech of another person
• Fundamental understanding of all PV products installed by Freedom Forever
• Walk or run for long periods of time
• All assigned Freedom Forever training modules and documentation must be completed by the designated due date
