May assign/manage efforts in the CAD/Civil 3D department
Develop design models including points, alignments, profiles, cross sections, corridors, surfaces, and pipe networks
Work with AutoCAD functions including sheet set manager, tool palettes, AutoCAD annotations, Civil 3D annotations, tables, and scales
Perform quality control redline checks before having plan sets roll up to Project Managers
Train staff on the most current technologies being utilized in the industry
Prepare dimensional drawings, installation drawings, and more complex drawings

Strong knowledge with CAD set up using surveyor data
5+ years of experience using CAD for airfield design projects.
Ability to work proficiently with AutoCAD and Civil 3D (Civil Engineering design and documentation software) is required
Ability to communicate thoughts and concepts with team members
Ability to prepare various support graphics for reports and meetings
Experience with AutoCAD Map is preferred
Basic understanding of Civil engineering and design practices
Possess knowledge of coordinate systems, cartographic layout and design techniques
