Tasks

-Influencing key stakeholders within and beyond our company to advance projects through our product qualification Process with strong technical leadership. -To assist with the management of engineering data using engineering data management software -Assist and contribute towards the development of the department, company standards and ultimately our product range -To formulate test procedures. -To define and supervise validation trials. -To assist with the development of custom design software. -To design Balmoral products from initial concept to production within the offshore Renewables and Oil and Gas sectors. -To produce information for production department.

What You Bring

-Competence in MS Word, Excel, Access -Lateral thinker -Experience within a manufacturing environment preferably within an Oil and Gas environment -Knowledge of FEA systems preferably ANSYS -Ability to work promptly and accurately and remain composed under pressure -Knowledge of CAD -To use engineering tools efficiently. -Knowledge of MathCad. -Excellent communication skills -2-3 years of relevant industry experience or placement/work experience in a relevant industry -Already a member of a professional institution with a view to working towards Chartered status -Ability to work in a team -Self Motivated -Knowledge of CAD software and drawing standards. -Engineering degree – Mechanical, Structural, Civil, Aero Space, Renewables or navel architecture.
